Refills Policy!

  • ERx: All Prescriptions will be sent directly to your pharmacy by ePrescriptions, and your pharmacy will notify you once ready.

  • Chronic Medication Refill can be approved within 3 days if you have had an office visit within the last 6 months. Please call your pharmacy and request them to send us “Electronic Refill Requests”, or call our office.

  • If your chronic medications are down to 30 day supply, and you have not had an office visit in the last 6 months, please Schedule a Follow-up Visit to have your medications adjusted or refilled.

  • Per our office policy, ongoing Chronic Medication Refills require an office visit every six months for monitoring. Inactive patients, who have not been seen for one year, will have refills discontinued until they reestablish care. A temporary refill will be provided once the patient calls to schedule a new appointment.

  • Chronic Pain: Patients requesting Narcotic Pain Medications will be referred to pain management specialist, or given the option of non-controlled analgesics.

  • Mental Health Conditions: Patients requesting Controlled Substances will be referred to a neurologist or psychiatrist or offered non-controlled alternatives.

  • Urgent Issues: Patients who call our Team Care for their acute issues, will have their medications sent electronically by ePrescriptions on the Same Day, or arranged for an urgent visit within 48 hours either remotely or in-person.

  • Convenient Care: Patients who call our Team Care with routine issues, and are unable to await their next available appointment by phone or in-person, will have their medications refilled within 3 business days.
