About Staff

Dr. Vigen Vick Abovian, MD, specializes in primary care and geriatric medicine. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and completed his family medicine residency at Texas A&M University CCTX County Hospital. In 2010, he founded VIDA Family Practice PC and joined the medical staff at Glendale Adventist Hospital, where he has provided comprehensive care for patients with diverse needs, including chronic conditions, urgent concerns, and routine care.

In 2021, Dr. Abovian led the implementation of BHEP, a community-based initiative that builds on VIDA Family Practice PC’s team-based care model to expand access, strengthen care coordination, and address gaps in patient care. He is a member of the AAFP and speaks English, Armenian, Russian, and Spanish, enabling him to serve a diverse patient population..
